Focusing Inward:
Everyday Magic

I’ve always been drawn to the places where creativity and life meet — to light, colour, pattern, flow, and the fleeting moments of magic beneath everyday experience.

For me, photography has never been just about images. It’s about attention. It’s about presence. It’s about coming home to your senses and spark of wonder. It is on one hand a time capsule and on the other hand a portal: into a place, memory, moment or feeling.

Photography is magic.

Over the years, I’ve learned an important lesson: every time I tried to narrow myself into a single niche or formula, I lost myself. My work became bland. My curiosity disappeared. The images didn’t begin to scratch the surface of what I knew was possible. I hated what I created.

This lifted when I stopped trying to contain my creativity and allowed it move freely between forms.

Sometimes this looks like photographing people and the milestones of their lives. Sometimes it’s commercial and editorial work for brands or organizations. Sometimes it looks like abstract or fine-art photography paired with writing. Sometimes it’s mentoring other creatives as they find their voice and direction.

I’ve worked with individuals, creative teams, and organizations on projects that range from intimate personal stories to large-scale brand narratives.

What matters most to me isn’t the category of the project, but the energy behind it.

I don’t work from templates or Pinterest boards. I work from conversation, curiosity, and creative trust. I’m drawn to people and projects that want something real and reflects who they actually are rather than what they think they should look like.

That’s the energy I bring into my photography and my mentorship. And that’s the energy I look for in the people I work with. If you’re drawn to story, expression, and making work that feels alive rather than manufactured, we’ll likely become life long creative companions.

  • Jenn is fantastic and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. Our team took away some really practical, hands on knowledge and also gained the confidence in managing aspects of content creation themselves.
